National Park Service and Maryland Symphony Orchestra put on quite a show, growing every year. Meanwhile, an uneasy undercurrent of much reflexive ‘arms-flexing’ in the still-near wake of “911” with most persons feeling ‘at the ready’ for whatever may happen, including the ‘go signal’ for attack, invasion, etc permeated all goings-on.
