The Rosewood Center, originally established in 1888 as the Asylum and Training School for the Feeble-Minded, was a state-run institution located in Owings Mills, Maryland. Over the years, it underwent several name changes, reflecting shifts in societal attitudes and institutional functions. In 1912, it became the Rosewood State Training School, later the Rosewood State Hospital in 1961, and finally the Rosewood Center in 1969.
