Lisbon Haunted House on Frederick Road by Beverly Litsinger
The Lisbon house on Frederick Road is a battleground between the living and the lingering. Haunted by an older man and two mischievous boys, the family has faced a series of spine-tingling events: kitchen cabinets opening on their own, faucets mysteriously turning on, and even a tambourine that seemingly plays itself. The specters don’t stop there—ghostly children peek into bedrooms at night, while a tall man looms in the living room’s easy chair. Paranormal investigators captured eerie orbs and a dark shadow in the baby’s room, leaving no doubt that this house holds secrets from the other side.
I was invited to investigate a house in Lisbon. The family was having a terrible time with many paranormal things happening in the house. The house is haunted by three ghosts. One is an older man with two young boys. The people living in the house have seen the apparitions. The family is constantly bothered by strange noises (to the point that they called MGSA). The kitchen cabinets will open and close by themselves. The water will turn on in the kitchen. When they come running to check out the noise they find a wet sink but nobody around.
After tucking all their children into bed one night, the parents were in their room when they heard a tambourine. They got up and found the tambourine on the floor but with the child fast asleep under the covers. They went back to bed and the tambourine played again. They ran back to the room again and found the child asleep and the tambourine laying on the floor. After this happened several times the father became mad and threw the tambourine out the window.
The parents have been in their room laying in bed when they see a ghostly boy peeping into their room. They have seen a six foot tall man sitting in a large easy chair in the living room.
They called the Maryland Ghost and Spirit Association to check out their house. Our group captured pictures of orbs in the living room and family room. When we visited the baby room and took pictures, they all came out bright except one that had a very dark shadow like someone standing in the door.
