Elkton Haunted Townhouse by Beverly Litsinger

Elkton Haunted Townhouse by Beverly Litsinger

In October 2003, Beverly Litsinger investigated a townhouse in Elkton, Maryland, where the residents reported unexplained phenomena:
  • A door opening by itself, even when deadbolted.
  • Strange noises and footsteps.
  • The wife occasionally glimpsing an apparition.
During the investigation, Litsinger recorded infrared temperature readings between 150°F and 160°F and electromagnetic field (EMF) readings ranging from 10 to 25. She discovered that the townhouse was built on the site of a tragic airplane crash that claimed 82 lives. Litsinger sensed a male presence, suggesting the haunting could be linked to this historical event. The family requested the investigation before deciding to move out.

I was invited to investigate the home of a family who was experiencing strange happenings in their home. Their door would open by itself even when it was dead bolted. Strange noises and footsteps were heard. The wife thought she saw an apparition out of the corner of her eye. I came to investigate the home and got reading of 150 to 160 on my infra red temperature gauge. I got reading of 10 to 25 on my EMF detector.

I learned that the home was built on the site of an airplane crash where 82 people were killed. The house seems to be haunted by a ghostly presence that I thought was male. The family had me do the investigation before they moved out.
